Planting Naturals is a company fully committed to the sustainable production of organic products. Our products are cultivated using only 100% organic practices by smallholder farmers and owned plantations in West Africa, and add organic credibility to food, personal care and animal nutrition products. Using a vertically integrated supply chain, Planting Naturals supports the communities in which it operates through organic farming practices and environmental preservation, and provides social support to equitably improve quality of life for all stakeholders, from Farm to Fork. Planting Naturals strives to demonstrate that palm oil, grown organically using sustainable practices and certified through third party certifications, can preserve the environment, bring positive economic support to local communities and create sustainable livelihoods for everyone involved. Planting Naturals aims to connect the benefits of organic, responsible palm oil, with brands, suppliers, manufacturers, media and consumers, to change the conversation about palm oil and bring positive impact to scale.
Our ‘Only from Africa’ Organic Pam Oil
Organic palm oil originates from West Africa. For millennia it has been considered ‘’the tree of life’’ and used for culinary, medicinal, cosmetic, and spiritual purposes. Traditional oil palm agroforestry systems in West Africa represent highly complex agricultural systems with a great variety of interplanted crops. Planting Naturals aims to preserve and enhance the traditional systems by working with smallholder farmers of Sierra Leone and to bring their palm oil to the international markets, in order to support the development of local economies. Over 9,000 of them in fact, the largest out grower of organic palm farmers in the world.
